BIOGRAPHY

Heidi Brickell (Te Hika o Papauma, Ngāti Apakura, Ngāti Kahungunu, Rangitāne, Rongomaiwahine) is a painter and sculptor whose artworks are grounded in ideas of interplay, translation, exchange and imprecision, as well as her work in te reo Māori education. She studied at Elam School of Fine Arts and lives in Tāmaki Makaurau.
